S A M P L E S I’ve been solidly knitting orders S A M P L E S I’ve been solidly knitting orders and stock before finishing work in a couple of weeks so I’ve nothing new to show you! But thought I’d whip out this sample to show you & to demonstrate how versatile knitting machines are. This whole piece was created using just one punchcard! I just changed the settings & yarns to create different effects on the fabric. There isn’t a huge amount in stock at the moment, (there aren’t any Joan jumpers in stock) but there are some pieces on sale- designs that will be archived and won’t be coming back when I do! There’s very limited numbers on the ready to ship pieces, so might be worth checking it out sooner rather than later for some bargains and Christmas pressies! Pre & post wash! What my knits look like when they Pre & post wash! What my knits look like when they’re finished. You can almost feel how soft they are with this picture. Perfect comfort Autumnal clothing, made with 100% lambswool spun in Yorkshire, by me in Bristol. It’a very labour intensive & why I absolutely love to see people wearing and enjoying my pieces. Although I use a machine to knit these pieces, it’s all done with my own man power, no electricity here. It’s a process akin to weaving, all done by me powering the machine. And then each piece is hand stitched together before being washed & steamed to bring out the full softness of the fibre.
