All of the products are handmade by me. While I aim to have some in stock at all times, I may sometimes have to make your order up, please allow 4-6 weeks knitting time for jumpers before delivery and 2-3 weeks for snoods etc before delivery- if you need your item sooner you can purchase a rush order for £20 to get your order processed right away. Pieces that are listed in the “ready to ship” section can be sent immediately.
Most of my products are made to order, so please allow me time to make it with the utmost care before it is shipped. More information about how much time to allow is available in the individual product description.
Book orders are sent out once a week.
If you have placed an order and would like to change the delivery address, please contact me as soon as possible.
I gladly accept returns on most items- commissions & some made to order pieces are exempt. Please contact me within 14 days of delivery & dispatch the item back to me in saleable condition within 14 days. I do accept cancellations or exchanges in some cases- please contact me if you have problems with your order as soon as possible.
- If you receive an item via our studio that you believe to be faulty, you must report the fault including a photo within 7 working days to firstname.lastname@example.org . I reserve the right to refuse a refund on any items that I do not deem to be faulty.
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged. Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive to you damaged or defective, I cannot accept returns for:
- Custom or personalised orders/commissions.
- Made to order pieces
- Online workshops
I send all my products out via Royal Mail ‘Tracked’ First Class, a service that you can track, and normally takes 1-3 days.
I offer worldwide shipping, items will be sent using Royal Mail tracked & signed for service for garments. They aim to deliver within 5-7 days but can take up to 14 days.
Books are sent international standard delivery

I hope you will be entirely satisfied with your Amber Hards knitwear, but if for any reason you are not, items you would like to return for an exchange or refund will be accepted within 14 days of delivery to you, providing the item is in saleable condition. Items returned outside of the 14 day period will only be accepted if they have been authorised by us first. Please note that your statutory rights are not affected.
If you would like to return an item please email firstname.lastname@example.org within 14 days to start the returns process.
Your refund will be made by Paypal, or in the same method used for the purchase.
Please note: You are responsible for the postage costs of returned or exchanged items. Please only send items via a tracked method of delivery that requires a signature on arrival, as it is considered your property until it arrives with us, and we are not liable to refund or exchange it.
The item must still have all labels attached and be unworn/in the same condition it was sent to you, so I can re-sell it.
Once I have received the item and checked that it is in a re-saleable condition, I will refund or exchange the item.
I aim to process all returns within 48 hours of reaching me and will email or write to confirm when this has been done. I am not responsible for any charges that may occur from Paypal or your bank when receiving payments.
You will be billed for postage of any exchange items, before the item is sent.
