Cotton facecloths machine knitting pattern

£5.00

Perfect practise with the ribber!

Description

*Please note this is for the written machine knit pattern, not for the finished facecloths.

Four different textured designs that are made using the ribber attachment in variations of 1×1 rib. They have a lovely marshmallowey softness and pliability whilst gently exfoliating and leaving your skin feeling soft. I love using these as part of my daily skin ritual- perfect to use when cleansing for a bit of luxury. They’re machine washable, and dry quickly and make wonderful gifts. They are a great way to practice stitches and knitting using the ribber.

Approximately 25cm x 26cm or 8 x 10 inches. Using 2 x ends of 2ply (6/50 Nm) Egyptian Cotton by Filmar, from Uppingham Yarns.

What you get:

  • PDF pattern with written instructions & images.

  • Advice on which yarns to use & alternatives.

  • Instructions for “English rib”, “Fisherman’s rib”, “racked English rib” & “racked fisherman’s rib”.

  • How to knit the selvedge & tension square.

These facecloths were made on a Brother knitting machine & ribber attachment. Model numbers KH836 & KR850. You will need a ribber to knit this bag. The pattern can be used on some other models & brands of knitting machine, sometimes the buttons/levers differ slightly. Please refer to your manual.
