One of my favourite colour combos this year for a One of my favourite colour combos this year for a Joan jumper. 🌸🌺🐪 I mixed different pinks and oatmeal to create some bespoke colours for this Joan. Because they are lambswool and get washed after knitting, the fibres blend together so nicely and bloom out into the softest colours. Oh and did I mention....it’s reversible! Two looks in one! I’m always tidying it....apparently it’s impossible for me to keep it clean and clear. When we bought our flat my studio space massively downsized so I’m still figuring out how best to use it. I’m still dreaming about a bigger space all for myself and able to fit all my machines etc & be able to walk around in it! One day it’ll happen! #creativestudio #knitstudio

Instagram is a funny old place isn’t it. One of the comments is to keep sharing what you love. Which is a great reminder to focus on that rather than the likes, follows and engagement. In a couple of days I’ll probably do some stories about this, because so often it’s easy to get caught up in social media and letting it effect your mental health. And I’ve decided each week I’ll be sharing a swatch either new or old of some interesting knits. Knitting on my machine is what I love the most and I need to share that more! Let me know if there’s anything else you want more of etc in the comments or on stories- it really helps buoy me up. 🌸🌺🌸🌺 Intarsia workshop is now availabl 🌸🌺🌸🌺 Intarsia workshop is now available to book on my website! I had a lot of fun playing around yesterday with different yarns & going with the flow. Intarsia is a super fun, colour work technique, but as usual I like to involve texture. The workshop will be just one session and all the info about the technique & what’s included in the workshop is on the website. It’s a time consuming but fun technique and of course I’ll have different samples to show you & explore other ways for using intarsia like texture!
